God Almighty created human beings to live fruitful lives beneath His absolute sovereign rule. The original blessing of Genesis 1 verses 28 joins fruitfulness, multiplication, stewardship, and dominion. Sin corrupted this calling, turning fruitfulness into selfish ambition and dominion into control. Through the Lord Jesus Christ, God calls us back to a life in which character, conduct, service, and influence are governed by His holy purpose.
The September 2026 Edition of the Mamlakah Daily Devotional explores this calling under the theme “Fruitfulness, Holiness and Dominion.” These three truths belong together. Fruitfulness reveals the life of Christ through godly character and good works. Holiness consecrates the whole person to God and protects spiritual influence from corruption. Dominion is the responsible exercise of delegated authority under the Father’s supreme sovereignty. It begins with mastery over sin, appetite, thought, and disorder through divine grace.
The thirty daily studies move through deliberate progression. The opening lessons examine fruitfulness through abiding in Christ, God the Father’s pruning, the cleansing power of the Holy Scriptures, fruitful prayer, and the fruit of the Spirit. The middle section applies holiness to the heart, body, speech, relationships, worship, and secret life. The closing studies consider dominion under God’s sovereignty, victory over sin, disciplined thought, temptation, prayer, servant leadership, adversity, discipleship, and the eternal kingdom.No living believer has already reached sinless perfection. We pursue holiness sincerely while depending upon grace and awaiting the complete transformation promised at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our present calling is neither careless acceptance of sin nor proud claims of perfection. We press forward in faith, repentance, obedience, and hope, trusting the Spirit of God to form the character of the Lord Jesus Christ within us.
